Morocco captain Romain Saiss believes the national team's defensive line made significant errors against Uganda, emphasizing the need to avoid complacency against any team in Africa.

Following Morocco's dominant 4-0 victory over Uganda, Saiss stated in a televised interview: "It was a difficult match, but I think we made it look easy. We had the desire to start both matches well, specifically to score early, open up the game, and not allow the opponent to stay in defense for as long as possible. We scored early and forced the opponent to play to equalize, and this is what we planned for in both matches."

He continued: "We faced a team with high physical fitness and and speed in counter-attacks, and we managed to respond to this physical challenge. However, we must be careful, because at times we feel things are easy and lose a bit of focus. I believe Yassine did not have to make any dangerous saves today, but we put ourselves in dangerous situations due to our mistakes."

Saiss added: "This proves that in Africa, you cannot relax against any team. This training camp was successful, achieving two victories, clean sheets in both matches, and a large number of positive points. Of course, there are some details we will work on in the next camp, which is approaching quickly, and we are eagerly looking forward to it."
