Trump to Ronaldo: "My Son is a Huge Fan, I Think He Respects His Father More Now Because I Introduced You"

US President Donald Trump affirmed his son's admiration for Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, the Al Nassr forward, during the latter's visit to the White House.

Speaking at a dinner banquet he hosted, Trump said, "This room is filled with the greatest leaders in the world, businessmen and athletes. As you know, my son is a huge fan of Ronaldo," referring to 19-year-old Barron Trump.

He continued, "Now I think he respects his father a little bit more just because I introduced you to him. So I want to thank you for being here, thank you very much, it's truly an honor."

Ronaldo was present at the White House yesterday, Tuesday, alongside the delegation accompanying Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and several other global figures such as Elon Musk.
