Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo recalled the moment he gifted a Portugal national team jersey to former US President Donald Trump, considering him among the people capable of changing the world.

In a lengthy interview with journalist Piers Morgan, Ronaldo said regarding Trump: "He is one of the people capable of changing the world, or helping to change it."

Ronaldo's statement came in response to a question about signing the jersey he gifted to Trump some time ago, on which he wrote: "To President Donald Trump, we play for peace."
