Cristiano Ronaldo Meets Donald Trump at White House

The White House is set to host Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo for an anticipated meeting with President Donald Trump today, Tuesday, in Washington, according to Jake Traylor, an MS NOW White House correspondent.

This meeting comes on the sidelines of a scheduled meeting between Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and President Trump. It remains unclear whether the 40-year-old star, who plays for Al-Nassr, will be part of the Saudi delegation.

Ronaldo had previously praised Donald Trump in an earlier interview, expressing his desire to speak with him as soon as possible. The former Real Madrid player stated, "A world at peace is our goal, and he (Trump) is one of the people who can change the world or help change it. That is my main goal: to meet Trump and talk about world peace. If you can achieve that, he is someone I would really like to sit down with."

Yesterday, Monday, Donald Trump also received FIFA President Gianni Infantino, just over two weeks before the World Cup draw, scheduled for December 5 in Washington. During their meeting, the launch of the "Fifa Pass" was announced, which will provide ticket holders with facilities for administrative procedures and visa applications.
