Cristiano Ronaldo is nearing the end of his illustrious football career. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner, now in his forties, acknowledges that his time on the pitch is becoming very limited before his eventual retirement from professional play.

Ronaldo harbors ambitions of winning the World Cup with the Portugal national team in 2026, an event he anticipates will mark his final appearance in the prestigious tournament with "A Seleção."

Speaking during a video conference as part of a tourism forum in Riyadh, the Al-Nassr star indicated that he expects the 2026 World Cup to be his seventh and final participation in the global showpiece with his country. He stated, "Yes, certainly, I will be 41 years old, and I think that will be the right time."

He further confirmed his impending retirement from football, adding, "Let's be honest, when I say soon, it probably means another year or two," in reference to his potential involvement in the North American World Cup.
