Sadio Mané Predicts Senegal 3-0 Victory Over Iraq at World Cup
Al-Nassr FC player Sadio Mané has predicted a 3-0 victory for the Senegalese national team over their Iraqi counterparts at the 2026 World Cup, following "Lions of Mesopotamia's" qualification via the intercontinental play-off.
Mané appeared in a video alongside his Iraqi teammate Haider Abdul-Karim after Al-Nassr's training session, where he predicted an "easy match" against the "Lions of Mesopotamia," concluding with a 3-0 win for Senegal.
The Iraqi national team successfully reached the World Cup for the second time in its history, after defeating Bolivia 2-1 in the intercontinental play-off match. This will be their second World Cup appearance, following their participation in 1986.
It is worth noting that Iraq will be in Group 9 of the 2026 World Cup, alongside France, Norway, and Senegal.
