Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), confirmed today, Sunday, during a press conference following a meeting of the CAF Executive Committee, that decisions related to the Africa Cup of Nations final, between Morocco and Senegal, are now in the hands of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Motsepe stated: “What happened in the final match between Senegal and Morocco is indeed an important matter for us, and we must discuss it and answer the questions related to it.”
He added: “But what we want to focus on is that the final decision is now in the hands of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and we will respect and implement any decision CAS makes.”
