
Jordanian National Team Draws 2-2 with Nigeria in Friendly, Led by Al-Salmi
The Jordanian national team played to a 2-2 draw against their Nigerian counterparts in their second friendly match on Tuesday, as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Al-Nashama opened the scoring through Musa Al-Taamari in the 17th minute. Nigeria then responded with two goals from Moses Simon and Emmanuel Fernandez in the 25th and 41st minutes, respectively.
In the second half, coach Jamal Al-Salmi's squad managed to find an equalizer through Mohammed Al-Dawood in the 77th minute. This marks the second consecutive friendly for Jordan that has ended in a 2-2 draw, following their match against Costa Rica.
The match is part of a four-nation tournament currently taking place in Antalya, Turkey, featuring Jordan, Nigeria, Iran, and Costa Rica.
