Al-Salami: 'Moroccan National Anthem Moment in Arab Cup Final Was Difficult Due to Dual Role'

Jamal Al-Salami, coach of the Jordanian national team, expressed a mix of regret and pride following his team's match against the Moroccan national team in the Arab Cup final.
Al-Salami wrote in a post on his Instagram account: "A mixed feeling of regret and pride; regret over the final result, and pride in the players' performance and their excellent level."
Al-Salami concluded his post by saying: "The moment the Moroccan national anthem played was difficult because I represent the Moroccan framework and am responsible for the Jordanian national team."
