Jawad El Yamiq, a player for the Moroccan national team, confirmed that preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations are proceeding in a good and fraternal atmosphere. He noted that the national team is focusing on intensifying efforts to reach the opening match in the best possible readiness.

Speaking to the official website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, El Yamiq stated: "Preparations are going well in a good, fraternal, and family atmosphere. We are intensifying our efforts to be fully ready for the opening match."

El Yamiq added: "We are aware of the responsibility placed upon us, and we have one goal: to win this title. We prepare every day and listen to the instructions of coach Walid Regragui to be in peak readiness."

El Yamiq also sent a special message to Moroccan fans, emphasizing the significant role they will play in supporting the national team: "My message to the Moroccan fans is, God willing, we await you at the stadium this Sunday to achieve victory and continue our journey towards the title. We know you will be our support, you will motivate us, and you will put great pressure on our opponents."

It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team will kick off their Africa Cup of Nations 2025 campaign against Comoros this coming Sunday, at 8:00 PM (GMT+1), at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
