
Ecuadorian Pacho on Facing Teammate Hakimi: "We Talked About Who Would Win, and Facing Morocco Will Help Us Prepare Well for the World Cup"
Ecuadorian Willian Pacho, a Paris Saint-Germain player, revealed the conversation he had with his Moroccan teammate Achraf Hakimi before their respective national teams' friendly match next Friday, in preparation for the 2026 World Cup.
In press statements regarding his discussion with Hakimi ahead of the Ecuador vs. Morocco match, Pacho said: "We talked a little about who might win and who would play."
Regarding the upcoming match against Morocco next Friday, he explained: "Honestly, it will be a great challenge because it will help us a lot to prepare well for the World Cup. I think it's an opportunity to see where we are now and what we can improve. Here, we are facing teams of this caliber, who perform very well, like Morocco, who recently reached the Africa Cup of Nations final."
