French press reports have revealed that the Royal Moroccan Football Federation is expected to call up Lille's French midfielder, Ayyoub Bouaddi, during the current March training camp.
According to the French website 'Foot Mercato', Bouaddi is leaning towards representing Morocco instead of France, following positive discussions with the Federation. The report confirmed that the young player has given his verbal consent to join the Moroccan national team.
The source added that the Moroccan Federation wishes to call him up starting from March, a move aimed at quickly integrating him into the national team ranks.
The French website further explained that a meeting took place this week involving Fouzi Lekjaa, Mohamed Ouahbi, Bouaddi, and his close associates. The discussions between all parties were considered positive by the Moroccan Federation.
