
Bouaddi: "I Dream of Participating in the 2026 World Cup; All Players Want to Represent Their Country"
Moroccan-born Ayyoub Bouaddi, a player for French club Lille, dreams of participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
In an interview with French newspaper L'Equipe, Bouaddi stated: "All players one day want to represent their country and have an international career."
He continued: "Naturally, the 2026 World Cup is appealing. It will be a fantastic tournament with a new format, so everyone hopes to participate in it."
Bouaddi has represented France's U21 national team, playing 8 matches and scoring one goal. The player has expressed his ambition to be part of the upcoming World Cup.
