Morocco's 2026 World Cup Journey: 1,800km in 10 Days
The Moroccan national team learned on Saturday the stadiums and cities where they will play their group stage matches during their participation in the 2026 World Cup, as they will compete in three different cities.
Achraf Hakimi's teammates will begin their campaign against Brazil at MetLife Stadium, which will also host the World Cup final, located in New York City. The "Lions" will then travel to Boston to face Scotland. In their final group match, the Moroccan team will meet Haiti in Atlanta.
Since the Moroccan team will play in three different cities, they will have to change cities, hotels, and training grounds after each match.
The team will start their World Cup journey in New York, then travel to Boston, covering a distance of 305 km (by plane). Subsequently, from Boston to Atlanta, the distance will be greater, reaching 1500 km. This means the "Atlas Lions" delegation will fly a total of 1800 km within 11 days.
