Algerian Ben Cheikh: "Hakimi Deserved to Win the Ballon d'Or"

Ali Ben Cheikh, a former Algerian national team player, affirmed that Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi deserved to win the Ballon d'Or over his Paris Saint-Germain teammate, Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé.
Speaking on Qatar's "Al Kass" channel during the "Al Majlis" program, Ben Cheikh stated: "Hakimi deserved to win the Ballon d'Or that was awarded to Dembélé, given the high level of performance he demonstrated."
It is worth noting that Achraf Hakimi finished sixth in the 2025 Ballon d'Or award rankings, having accumulated 484 points in the journalists' vote.
