Regragui: "We Must Remain Humble and Respect Our Opponents at the World Cup"
Walid Regragui, head coach of the Moroccan national team, emphasized the importance of humility and respecting all opponents when participating in the 2026 World Cup, in order to achieve their goal of advancing past the group stage.
Speaking to FIFA.com, Regragui stated: "In this tournament (the World Cup), we always find ourselves up against a big team. This time, our opponent will be Brazil, which makes it a tough match for us."
He added: "We must remain humble and respect every opponent if we want to get past the group stage. After that, it will be like a completely new tournament. We are ambitious, of course, especially after our journey in the 2022 World Cup. There are great expectations for our team, and we must live up to these aspirations."
It is worth noting that the World Cup draw placed the Moroccan national team in Group C, alongside Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti.
