Ainawi: 'Playing Brazil at World Cup is a Childhood Dream Come True'

Moroccan international Nael Ainawi, who plays for Italian club AS Roma, has expressed his excitement after his dream of facing Brazil in the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals came true. The tournament will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Speaking to French channel Canal Plus about facing Brazil in the Atlas Lions' opening World Cup fixture, Ainawi stated, "It's a dream match."
He added, "Playing against Brazil in the World Cup is what we all dreamed of since our childhood. Yes, I am excited."
The Moroccan national team was drawn into Group C alongside Brazil, Haiti, and Scotland during the official draw ceremony held yesterday, Friday, in Washington.
