Awaiting International Future Decision: Bouaadi Returns to France U21 Squad
France U21 coach Gérald Baticle announced on Thursday the squad for the upcoming Euro 2027 U21 qualifiers, which includes Moroccan-origin player Ayoub Bouaadi, a midfielder for French club Lille.
The 18-year-old Bouaadi has delivered impressive performances in recent matches for his club, earning him a spot in the French squad to face Switzerland on November 14 in Lausanne and the Faroe Islands on November 17 in Grenoble.
Despite his inclusion in the France U21 squad, debate continues regarding the player's senior international future. It remains undecided whether he will choose to represent Morocco or France at the senior level.
Bouaadi is considered one of the most promising rising talents in French football and is closely watched by Moroccan national team fans, who hope he will join the ranks of the "Atlas Lions" in the near future.
