French Federation Intensifies Efforts to Retain Moroccan-Origin Bouaddi, Deschamps Informs Him He's in Future Plans

Didier Deschamps, coach of the French national team, is working to secure the future of young Moroccan-origin talent Ayyoub Bouaddi, a Lille player.

The French website "Foot Mercato" reported that Deschamps informed the 18-year-old, who recently renewed his contract with Lille until June 2029, that he is counting on him for his future plans with "Les Bleus."

On the other hand, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has long sought to include the Lille midfielder, and, according to the same website, appeared to be making significant progress in its efforts a few months ago.

Sources close to Bouaddi had sent positive signals to the Moroccan coaching staff in recent months regarding the player potentially representing the "Atlas Lions," while the French Federation is keen to retain him, with his call-up to the senior national team in upcoming gatherings not ruled out, according to "Foot Mercato."
