Amrabat Returns to Real Betis Group Training, Nearing Comeback

Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat has rejoined Real Betis' group training sessions after recovering from an ankle injury. This follows a period of individual training designed to ensure a gradual and safe return to competitive action.

Amrabat participated partially in the team's latest training session, joining his teammates for a segment of the drills. This step reflects the improvement in his physical condition and his nearing full fitness. Reports indicate that his return to match action is imminent, pending the completion of his rehabilitation program and the full recovery of his physical readiness.

Should his condition continue to progress positively, the Moroccan midfielder is expected to feature in Real Betis' squad for their upcoming match against Greek side Panathinaikos next Thursday, as part of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16.

Amrabat had previously undergone successful surgery in Amsterdam, the Dutch capital, following a strong blow he sustained during a Europa League encounter against Dutch club FC Utrecht, in an incident that also involved his teammate Isco.
