Pellegrini: "Amrabat Continues Recovery, Difficult to Return Before International Break"
Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini has stated that Sofyan Amrabat's return to action before the March international break might be premature, noting that the Moroccan international is continuing his prescribed recovery program.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of the match against Getafe, Pellegrini said: "Amrabat is continuing his recovery individually. It might be a bit too early for him to participate before the international break."
The Betis coach also indicated that Amrabat's return "will depend on his commitment to training," adding: "We will see based on the progress of the work he is doing."
Amrabat recently underwent successful surgery in Amsterdam, the Dutch capital, following his participation with the national team in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
