Professional League: Maghreb Fez Defeats Ittihad Yaacoub El Mansour (2-1)

Maghreb Fez secured an important victory over hosts Ittihad Yaacoub El Mansour with a score of (2-1) in the match that brought the two teams together today, Friday, at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, as part of Week 13 of the "Inwi" Professional League.

Maghreb Fez opened the scoring early through player Soufiane Benjdida in the tenth minute, and added their second goal in the 26th minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area.

Both teams attempted to exchange attacks, before the hosts managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Ibrahim El Mansouri in the 47th minute.

At the start of the second half, Ittihad Yaacoub El Mansour pressed Maghreb Fez's defense strongly. However, the visitors succeeded in scoring their second leading goal through Hamza Afsal in the 74th minute, following a VAR review.

The hosts attempted to capitalize on some counter-attacks, but to no avail, and the match concluded with a (2-1) victory for Maghreb Fez.
