
AFCON Final Hooliganism: 9 Senegalese Sentenced to 12 Months Imprisonment, 6 Fans to 6 Months, and 3 Others to 3 Months
The Rabat court has issued varying sentences against 18 individuals involved in disturbances during the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025" final. All the fans are of Senegalese nationality, with the exception of one fan of Algerian origin.
The court sentenced nine Senegalese fans to one year in prison, along with a fine of 5,000 Moroccan Dirhams.
A second group of six individuals received sentences of six months in prison and a fine of 2,000 Moroccan Dirhams.
The remaining three fans received lighter sentences of three months in prison and a fine of 1,000 Moroccan Dirhams.
