Minor Injury Delays Zabiri's Rennes Debut
Moroccan Yasser Zabiri was absent from the Stade Rennais squad called up to face Lens this Saturday evening, in a match scheduled for the 21st round of the French League.
Stade Rennais coach Habib Beye confirmed that new signing Zabiri is not yet ready to participate in his first match against Lens due to a minor injury.
The French team's coach explained during the pre-match press conference that Zabiri is currently undergoing physical rehabilitation after sustaining a minor thigh muscle injury, which prevents him from immediately joining matches.
It is worth noting that Zabiri joined Stade Rennais earlier this week and has participated in some training sessions, as he continues to work on regaining full fitness in preparation for his official debut with the team in upcoming matches.
