Yassir Zabiri Completes First Training Session with Stade Rennais
Moroccan international Yassir Zabiri participated in his first training session with French club Stade Rennais, following his transfer during the winter transfer window.
The French team confirmed in an official statement that Yassir Zabiri would be unable to feature against Olympique Marseille in the Coupe de France this Tuesday evening (21:00 GMT+1) due to his ineligibility.
Stade Rennais had announced on Monday evening their official signing of Moroccan forward Yassir Zabiri, who arrived from Portuguese club Famalicão as part of the ongoing winter transfer window.
Zabiri moved to the French club on a contract extending until the summer of 2029, having attracted attention with his strong performances, particularly after excelling in the U20 World Cup and winning the title with the Moroccan youth national team.
