French press reports have revealed that Rennes are interested in signing young Moroccan forward Yasser Zabiri during the current winter transfer window.

According to "Foot Mercato," Rennes are closely monitoring Zabiri's situation, especially following the departure of their striker Qader Mety to Saudi club Al-Hilal. This move has prompted the French club's management to seek a replacement capable of filling the void in their attack.

The same source added that Zabiri, who is under contract with Portuguese club Famalicão, is among the names admired by Rennes officials, given his impressive performances with the Moroccan U20 national team and his goal-scoring contributions for his current club.
