Rennes Coach on Ait Boudlal: 'He Has Great Quality, I Don't Know the Limits of His Abilities... He Will Make Mistakes, But We Will Continue to Support Him'

Rennes coach Habib Beye praised the qualities of Moroccan international Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal, affirming that the club will continue to support its defender to help him perform at his best on the field.

Beye stated in a media interview: “At certain moments, we noticed that when he has 30 meters of space in front of him in training, no one can stop him. We said he is capable of creating numerical superiority from deep thanks to his ability to carry the ball, and we will not hesitate to exploit that.”

He continued: “We have the advantage of playing with three defenders, so we always ensure two players are covering. Abdelhamid is a young player full of enthusiasm and possesses a lot of quality. I don't know the limits of his abilities.”

He added: “Ait Boudlal is good at building attacks, calm, composed, offers a lot in defense, strong in individual duels, and rarely finds himself in difficult one-on-one situations. He is a young player born in 2006, and he will still make some mistakes that must be accepted, and we will continue to support and back him.”
