
Ait Boudlal Expresses Gratitude, Aims for AFCON Title
Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal, the defender for French club Rennes, expressed his immense joy at representing the Moroccan national team in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations finals, set to be held in Morocco. His selection came after national coach Walid Regragui included him in the final squad list.
In a video published by his club on its official page, Ait Boudlal stated, "I thank everyone who supported and encouraged me. I also thank my team for the trust they placed in me, and I extend my gratitude to national coach Walid Regragui."
The player added, "I am very happy to be part of the final squad and to represent Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held on our home soil. God willing, we will be able to win the title."
The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals, hosted by Morocco, are scheduled to take place from December 21st to January 18th.
