Loïc Désiré, Sporting Director of French club Stade Rennais, affirmed that the signing of Moroccan talent Yassir Al-Zabiri aligns with the club's vision of investing in young players and preparing them to excel at the highest level.

In a statement to the club's official website, Désiré said: "Yassir is a talented player who has reached an important stage in his development after participating in the U20 World Cup. He also stands out for his ability to move without the ball, his excellent reading of the game, his work rate, and his composure in front of goal, which makes him a very promising prospect."

He added: "I would also like to acknowledge the great work done by our scouting department, which regularly traveled to Portugal. This deal is a direct result of their continuous efforts."

Désiré continued: "Similar to Abid Hamid, who has made significant progress since joining, we wholeheartedly wish Yassir success in showcasing his full potential in a Stade Rennais shirt."
