Mane Returns to Al-Nassr with Special Reception After AFCON Triumph
Senegalese player Sadio Mané, 33, returned to Al Nassr on Friday after winning the Africa Cup of Nations with his national team. Mané received a "royal" welcome from the technical and administrative staff, as well as his teammates.
Al Nassr surprised their Senegalese star with a special celebration that included two cakes: one to commemorate his 100th international cap for Senegal, and the other to mark his Africa Cup of Nations victory. Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo presented the first slice of cake as a gesture of appreciation.
Mané expressed his gratitude and happiness for the celebration, stating: "Thank you very much. I am very happy with the gift. I didn't expect it. I am very happy and look forward to the rest of the season."
In a related context, player Kalidou Koulibaly received a similar welcome at Al Hilal after returning from his participation in the continental tournament.
