
Five English Clubs Among Top Eight in Champions League
With one matchday remaining in the UEFA Champions League group stage, five out of six Premier League clubs are currently positioned within the top eight of the overall standings.
Arsenal leads the pack in first place with 21 points, securing their direct qualification to the Round of 16. Liverpool sits fourth with 15 points, while Tottenham is fifth with 14 points. Newcastle and Chelsea share seventh and eighth positions respectively, each accumulating 13 points.
Manchester City is the only Premier League team outside the top eight, currently in eleventh place with 13 points after their 3-1 loss to Bodø/Glimt, though they are guaranteed at least a playoff spot.
Other teams in the top eight include Bayern Munich (second with 18 points), Real Madrid (third with 15 points), and Paris Saint-Germain (sixth with 13 points). Bayern Munich has also directly qualified for the Round of 16.
Barcelona, Sporting CP, Atlético Madrid, Atalanta, Inter Milan, and Juventus have all secured at least a playoff spot, while Eintracht Frankfurt, Slavia Prague, Villarreal, and Kairat Almaty have been eliminated from the competition.
