Serious Injury Ends Liverpool Defender Conor Bradley's Season
Liverpool defender Conor Bradley has been ruled out for the remainder of the current football season after sustaining a serious knee injury.
The injury occurred during Liverpool's match against Arsenal on Thursday, which ended in a draw between the two teams.
The injury involves bones and ligaments in the knee, but it is not an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear.
Bradley is scheduled to undergo surgery in the coming days, after which he will begin his rehabilitation period at the club's training center.
Liverpool FC confirmed in a statement: "Bradley will undergo surgery in the coming days and will then begin a period of rehabilitation. No timeframe for his return to play has been set at this stage of the process."
This injury will also prevent the player from participating with the Northern Ireland national team in their World Cup qualifying playoff match against Italy in March.
This announcement follows a previous incident involving Gabriel Martinelli, who apologized after pushing Bradley while he was on the ground.
