Champions League: Rwandan Referee Crew to Officiate AS FAR vs. JS Kabylie Clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed the refereeing crew for the upcoming CAF Champions League group stage match between Morocco's AS FAR and Algeria's JS Kabylie.

According to information obtained by "Albotola," the officiating team will be led by Rwandan referee Abdoul Karim Twagiramukiza. He will be assisted by his compatriots Dieudonné Mutuyimana as first assistant referee and Didier Ishimwe as second assistant referee. The role of fourth official has been assigned to Rurisa Patience Fidèle. All officials are from Rwanda.

The match is scheduled to take place next Saturday, kicking off at 5:00 PM Moroccan time, at the "Hocine Aït Ahmed" Stadium in Tizi Ouzou.

AS FAR aims to secure their first victory in the group stage, having started their campaign with a defeat against Tanzania's Young Africans before drawing with Egypt's Al Ahly in their match played in Rabat.

Meanwhile, Algerian side JS Kabylie enters the clash with the ambition of achieving their first win in this phase, having drawn against Young Africans and suffered a defeat to Al Ahly. This sets up an open encounter with all possibilities for both teams looking to get their campaign back on track.
