Inter Miami Reaches Agreement with Celta Vigo for Taddeo Allende's Continued Stay
Jorge Mas, co-owner of American club Inter Miami, announced that an agreement has been reached with Spanish club Celta Vigo for the continued stay of Argentine forward Taddeo Allende within the club's ranks in Major League Soccer (MLS).
Mas stated, “Taddeo will be part of the team’s roster for 2026. We expect his arrival in the coming days. There is an agreement with Celta Vigo.”
Allende, whose rights are owned by Celta Vigo, had initially joined Inter Miami on loan in January 2025. The player proved his significant importance to the squad, playing a crucial role alongside star Lionel Messi.
Allende scored 11 goals in the regular season and 9 goals in playoff matches, including a goal in the final, setting a new league record for postseason goals. His contributions were fundamental to Inter Miami's triumph in securing their first-ever Major League Soccer (MLS) title.
