Argentine star Lionel Messi has achieved a new milestone, becoming the player with the most assists in the history of football.
Messi led his team, Inter Miami, to their first-ever MLS final after a dominant 5-1 victory over New York City FC.
The Argentine star did not score any goals in the match, but he provided the assist for the third goal, scored by Scilveti, a pass that once again etched his name into the history books.
With this assist, Messi reached 405 career assists, topping the list of the world's greatest playmakers. He is followed by Hungarian Ferenc Puskás with 404 assists, and then Brazilian Pelé with 369 assists.
