Evra: "Moroccan Hospitality is Amazing... Disputes at AFCON Were Only From Some Eliminated Teams"
Former French international Patrice Evra praised the high level of organization demonstrated by the Kingdom of Morocco during the Africa Cup of Nations, which concludes this Sunday.
The former Manchester United star stated in media remarks, "When I visit Morocco, Moroccans tell me: 'Welcome home, Evra,' and this is true."
He added, "Moroccan hospitality is honestly amazing. We saw the stadiums, and I didn't hear many criticisms, except for a few instances where disagreements arose because their team was eliminated from the competition. The hotels were fantastic, and the players are very happy. We will watch a great final between Morocco and Senegal, and I hope the best team wins."
It is worth noting that Morocco will face Senegal this Sunday (20:00 GMT+1) in the Africa Cup of Nations final. The match will take place at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in the capital, Rabat.
