
Shoubir (Egypt Goalkeeper): "Morocco's AFCON Organization Excellent, Preparations for Nigeria Match Going Well"
Egypt national team goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir confirmed that preparations for the third-place playoff match against Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations are progressing well.
Speaking to the press ahead of the Nigeria encounter, Shobeir stated, "We are facing a great team with a long history, and we have prepared well for the match. God willing, everything will be fine."
He added, "There is some frustration after the previous results, but this is football; it has wins and losses. We wanted to bring joy to the Egyptian people and to ourselves, but this is God's will. God willing, the future will be better."
Shobeir also emphasized the quality of Morocco's organization of the tournament, saying, "Morocco's organization of the Africa Cup of Nations is excellent, the stadiums are beautiful, and everything is well-organized."
The Egyptian national team is set to face its Nigerian counterpart tomorrow, Saturday, at 17:00 (GMT+1) in the third-place playoff match at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
