Lahrar: 'Determined to Qualify Tomorrow, Hope to Finish in 90 Minutes'

Moroccan national team goalkeeper Mehdi Lahrar has affirmed the readiness of the "Atlas Lions" for their Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash against Cameroon.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the national team's final training session before facing Cameroon, Lahrar stated: "There are no easy matches in the Africa Cup of Nations; all games are difficult, and all qualified opponents deserve to be here." The Raja CA goalkeeper added: "We are preparing for this match with utmost seriousness and are determined to secure qualification, God willing."

He continued: "We are preparing for all scenarios, and we hope to decide the match in 90 minutes, God willing. There is positive pressure, and thankfully, no negative pressure. We know what is expected of us, and we know what we want from this competition. We hope to live up to the fans' expectations."

Lahrar further spoke about the Moroccan supporters, saying: "The fans are always our support; they are with us in matches, helping us and pushing us to achieve victory. We hope they will be with us tomorrow, God willing, with even greater effort."

He concluded: "This title has been absent from the country for approximately 50 years, and God willing, we hope for success and to win it in this edition."

The Moroccan national team will face their Cameroonian counterparts tomorrow, Friday, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
