Regragui on Potential Full-back Changes: "Change Sometimes Shows We Are Scared, And This Is Not My Mentality"
Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan national team, affirmed that his tactical choices are determined by the progression of the competition and his technical convictions, rejecting the notion of making changes driven by fear.
Speaking at a press conference, Regragui stated, “We are in the middle of the competition, and there are things that can be done and others that cannot.”
He added, “Tomorrow, we might play with three defenders, but when we trust what we have done, why should we change sometimes?”
He continued, “Change sometimes gives the impression that we are scared, and this is not part of my mentality.”
He concluded, “We will play with our strengths, and then we will see what happens on the field.”
