Regragui: "We Want to Beat Zambia to Achieve Our Main Goal of Staying in Rabat"
Morocco's national coach, Walid Regragui, affirmed that the Moroccan national team's objective is to defeat Zambia and maintain their lead in the group, ensuring they continue their journey in Rabat.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Regragui stated: "We are approaching the third round of the group stage, in our final match against Zambia. We have an opportunity to finish this stage at the top of the group to remain in Rabat, and this has been our main goal since the start of the competition."
He added: "This will mark the end of the first round, after which the direct knockout phase, known for its difficulty, will begin. What matters to us today, of course, is to continue our development, win this match, and finish the group stage in first place and stay in Rabat – that is our goal."
It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team will face their Zambian counterparts tomorrow, Monday, starting at 8:00 PM (GMT+1), at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, as part of the final round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.
