AFCON Morocco: Angola and Zimbabwe Draw 1-1

The match between the national teams of Angola and Zimbabwe, part of the second round of the group stage in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Morocco, concluded in a 1-1 draw.

Angola opened the scoring in the 24th minute through their player Gelson Dala. He received a superb pass from Augusto Carneiro that penetrated Zimbabwe's defense, allowing Dala to strike the ball with his right foot from a single touch into the tight corner to the right of Zimbabwe goalkeeper Washington Arubi.

Zimbabwe managed to find an equalizer in the dying moments of the first half, in the 45+6th minute, courtesy of Musona, bringing the match to a 1-1 draw.
