Prestianni Called Up to Argentina Senior Squad After U20 World Cup Brilliance

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has announced the squad for the upcoming friendly match against Angola during the next international break.

Scaloni decided to call up Argentina U20 star Gianluca Prestianni for the Angola friendly, following his impressive performances at the FIFA U20 World Cup.

Prestianni currently plays for Portuguese club Benfica, where he has made 13 appearances this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.

The match between Argentina and Angola is scheduled for next Friday at 5:00 PM (GMT+1), as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
