
Uganda Coach Paul Put Praises Morocco's AFCON Organization: 'Unbelievable Infrastructure'
Paul Put, head coach of the Ugandan national team, expressed immense pride in participating in the Africa Cup of Nations finals, commending Morocco's organization of the tournament.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of their opening group stage match against Tunisia, Paul Put stated, "We are very proud to be present at this major continental tournament." He added that participating in the Africa Cup of Nations represents an important milestone for the Ugandan national team.
The Uganda coach lauded the organization, affirming, "I have participated in many tournaments, but what we have found here in Morocco is very special, both in terms of organization and infrastructure. It's unbelievable."
Regarding the match against Tunisia, Paul Put explained, "We will try to give our best effort against the Tunisian national team; it's a strong match against a respected opponent." He also highlighted his players' mental readiness.
He further emphasized the players' motivation, saying, "All the players are motivated to deliver the best possible performance, especially since the whole world will be watching this tournament."
