
With Goals from Slim and Hadraf... AS FAR Draws 2-2 in Friendly Against Uganda National Team
AS FAR drew 2-2 with the Uganda national team in a friendly match held at the Maamoura Sports Center. The game was part of both teams' preparations for upcoming competitions.
"Al-Botola" learned that AS FAR's goals were scored by Reda Slim in the first half and Abdel Fattah Hadraf in the second half.
During the first period of the match, coach Alexander Santos fielded the regular starting lineup before substituting them with younger players in the first half. The coach aimed to assess these young talents and give them valuable playing time.
Several key players were absent from the match, including Harimat, El Ouadni, Ait Ourkane, and Bach, who are participating in the Arab Cup. Additionally, Mauritania's Nouh El Abd and Angola's To Carneiro were with their respective national teams preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
AS FAR utilized the friendly match to continue their preparations for the remainder of the season, while the Ugandan national team focused on building cohesion among its players ahead of AFCON.
The Ugandan national team is placed in Group C of the Africa Cup of Nations, which is scheduled to kick off on December 21, alongside Nigeria, Tunisia, and Tanzania.
