Al-Ahly players expressed satisfaction with their 1-1 draw against AS FAR (Royal Army) in the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

Al-Ahly defender Mohamed Hany affirmed the positive nature of the result for his team, stating that the players delivered a strong performance and "were men." He considered an away draw a valuable point. Hany added that the team is accustomed to crowd pressure in various stadiums, acknowledging that some "transgressions" occurred but did not disrupt the players' concentration.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Shoukry noted that Al-Ahly faced a strong opponent on their home turf and in front of their supporters. He highlighted the team's confidence going into the match, emphasizing the importance of avoiding defeat if a win wasn't possible. Shoukry also mentioned the intense crowd atmosphere, stating that the team is accustomed to such conditions from previous matches in Morocco.

Taher Mohamed Taher echoed these sentiments, confirming the difficulty of the match and the chances created by both sides. He stated that Al-Ahly came close to securing a victory at times, but an away draw remains a positive outcome. Taher suggested that AS FAR faced greater pressure to win, given their need for points, while Al-Ahly's players are well-acquainted with the atmosphere of Moroccan stadiums.
