M'Changama (Comoros Player): 'We Are Preparing in the Best Possible Way to Face Morocco and Will Do Everything to Win Tomorrow'
Youssouf M'Changama, a player for the Comoros national team, emphasized that the past history of national teams does not determine the outcome of matches. His comments came ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations group stage opener against Morocco.
During the pre-match press conference, M'Changama stated: "God gives everyone the opportunity to win. Just because someone has won before, or because no one has won before, doesn't mean it will happen. These are not things we should look at."
He added: "We are preparing in the best possible way, doing everything necessary to get ready for the match, whether by analyzing the opponent or by primarily focusing on our strengths. Then we will enter with confidence to achieve victory in the match, without looking at history or saying that this has never happened before."
M'Changama continued: "We will do everything in our power to win. Everyone can win, and that has been proven many times already, so we are calm and will see what happens tomorrow."
M'Changama concluded: "We don't look at statistics that are against our team. We are preparing in the best possible way by analyzing the opponent and focusing on our strengths."
