Achraf Hakimi, captain of the national team, stated that the current edition of the Africa Cup of Nations is different because it is being held on Moroccan soil, adding that the full support of the fans will be behind the team.

During the press conference preceding the match against Comoros, Hakimi explained that the objective in this edition is to give everything they have for the national team and Morocco. He emphasized that his role is not measured by individual participation, even if he plays for just one minute, as the ultimate goal is to win the title.
