Lekjaa Reassures Fans: Hakimi Fully Recovered from Injury, Now at Full Fitness
Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, has reassured Moroccan fans regarding the health status of star player Achraf Hakimi, confirming that the player has made a full recovery from his injury and is now ready to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Lekjaa stated: "Praise be to God, Achraf Hakimi has fully recovered from his leg injury and is now at full physical fitness. He will be ready to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations matches with the Moroccan national team, God willing."
He added: "What is reassuring to all of us is that Hakimi underwent a period of treatment here at the Mohammed VI Football Complex."
Hakimi had been sidelined since early November due to an ankle sprain sustained during his club Paris Saint-Germain's match against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.
It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team's match against Comoros will take place this coming Sunday at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, kicking off at 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
