
Doha to Host "The Best" Awards 2025 Tomorrow, Hakimi Among Nominees
Qatar's capital, Doha, will host "The Best" Awards 2025 ceremony tomorrow, Tuesday, at Katara Hall in the Fairmont Hotel. The event, which will reveal the male and female winners, is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM (GMT+1).
FIFA announced the list of nominees for the Best Men's Player award, which includes several stars such as Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembélé (Paris Saint-Germain), Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid), and Mohamed Salah (Liverpool).
Hakimi has solidified his position as one of the world's most prominent full-backs after a season full of titles with Paris Saint-Germain, where his offensive style contributed to the club securing its first-ever UEFA Champions League title.
The ceremony coincides with the final match of the FIFA Qatar 2025 Intercontinental Club Cup, which will see Paris Saint-Germain face Flamengo at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. The event will also unveil the best male and female players and coaches for 2025.
Approximately 800 prominent figures are expected to attend the dinner ceremony, including the President of FIFA and its council members, along with local and regional ambassadors and distinguished sports personalities.
