Arab Cup: Chilean Referee Cristian Garay to Officiate Morocco vs. Syria Match
The FIFA Referees Committee has appointed the officiating team for the match between the Moroccan national team and their Syrian counterparts in the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup.
Chilean referee Cristian Garay will be the main official for this encounter. He will be assisted by Claudio Urrutia (Chile) as first assistant and José Retamal (Chile) as second assistant.
Juan Gabriel Benítez from Paraguay has been appointed as the fourth official, with Eduardo Cardozo, also from Paraguay, serving as the fifth official.
Rodolfo Toschki from Brazil will be in charge of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, assisted by Benjamin Pineda from Costa Rica in the VAR room.
The Moroccan national team will face their Syrian counterparts tomorrow, Thursday, starting at 3:30 PM (GMT+1).
